BERCUTI DI PULAU PERHENTIAN

INTRODUCTION

Yuhuuu!! Guess what, it's time for another holiday again! Yuhhuuu!! But it was really an unexpected trip for me, why? It is because only six person involve..expected around 20 person but last minutes all cancel because the reason meeting, report, iso and another reason that i got it because the tsunami at Japan...The story-nyer like this....Jeng Jeng Jeng...

Actually, this is a trip for May ,I want to go first because want to get survey about Perhentian Island, considering they manage to grab some promotional package to the island, at Fauna Beach Resort.

So are you ready to go and browse around for our photos and story for the whole journey? Sit still, ready your popcorn and coke on your hand while scrolling down to the end of this post! hahahahaha! Like watching movie huh~ except this is not 3D animated movie, but a "movie" whereyou need to use your fingers to scroll. Please bear with it la huh~ ^^

Ok, back to the story, we will need to depart at 8pm at night on 11th March from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Besut and reach there before 9 am. Our boat depart from Kuala Besut to Perhentian on 9 am, 12th March 2011.

Both of us do have the intention to go there for a simple photoshoot session tom promote Malaysia in TRAVELBIZ and snorkelling package (macam la pro!!). We prepared the necessity such as beach dresses, beach sport outfits, beach accessories, beach hat and so on.

We divided into session on that blog .

Travelling is the best thing ever. We can relax, improve knowledge & see more new things in life. I love to travel...

Perhentian island is a popular destination for backpackers, featuring long white sand beaches, dense jungle trails and excellent diving and snorkelling. The island is part of a Marine Park, and as such a protected from excessive development, though each year a little of natures paradise is replaced. On the positive side, a renewable energy center (wind and solar power) supplies the local village with electricity.

Long Beach is the liveliest area of the island, followed by Coral Bay, accommodation consists mainly of Beach Huts, but a few resorts operate concrete and air-conditioned units.

Tips: · Best weather (in season) March-October - (off season) Nov-Feb heavy rain and waves keep all but the most determined surfers away. There can be unseasonable good weather - or you can be trapped on the island for many days. · The fast boats to the island cost 70RM return, there is a 5RM park fee, taxis from the airport or train station in Kota Baru should cost about 50RM. · Beware of cheap dive operators - if a dive operator is undercutting the standard rate dramatically - corners are being cut - it may not affect you - but someone in the future may suffer with faulty equipment. · Coral Bay is the quieter beach, Long Beach bars play loud music long into the night - though you're more likely to be kept awake by the chugging of generators. · There are no ATM's on the island - stock up on cash before you arrive.

STARTING POINT

Stay tune…… lihat catatan seterusnya did alam episod ini..

PS: Seorang omputih bertanya:“Who is MAT SALLEH? Everywhere I go, everybody talk about him/her. She/he must be famous. I can’t wait to meet him/her.”

Perjalanan melalui jalan berliku..genting sempah, bentong, karak, gambang..

The Perhentian Islands (Pulau Perhentian in Malay) lie approximately 10 nautical miles (19 km) offshore the coast of northeastern Malaysia in the state of Terengganu. The two main islands are Perhentian Besar (”Big Perhentian”) and Perhentian Kecil (”Small Perhentian”).Perhentian Island is an ideal place for snorkeling and scuba diving. The islands have been gazetted as marine park, therefore fishing and collecting marine life is strictly prohibited. This also means that the rich diversity of aquatic life has been preserved and it is beautiful to experience.

sampai je Kuala Trengganu berhenti makan Tengahari di pantai batu burok sambil bawa aliff bermain layang layang dengan Jackie..

Pantai Batu Buruk Kuala Terengganu is undoubtedly the most famous beach in Terengganu, with white sandy beaches and swaying casuarinas lining up behind the shore, like a loyal friend to the waves. During windy days, playing kite on the beach is a good idea but swimming can be dangerous here.

Even if you're not shopping, come along to the Batu Buruk Friday market in Kuala Terengganu to soak in the lively atmosphere.

Fancy doing some shopping while enjoying fresh air and beautiful scenery at the same time? pantai batu burok, kuala trenngganu

pantai batu burok, kuala trenngganu
. You can, but only if you're at the Batu Buruk Friday market in Kuala Terengganu.

The shine of clear golden sands against the cool blue sea forms a nice backdrop for the popular market, which was started less than two years ago. It operates from 3pm to 7pm.

There are plenty of non-water-based sports activities conducted here. Kite flying is the most popular activity organised on the beach apart from regular beach soccer in the evening. Others play volleyball, sepak takraw, beach soccer, netball and other games at the beach. For younger children, there is a playground nearby where they can have have fun on the see-saws, ladders or play hide-and-seek.

Pantai Batu Buruk is located just outside downtown Kuala Terengganu. There are plenty of road signs that will point you to this beach, especially if you are driving northbound from Pahang and Kuala Lumpur.

By Bus

Batu Buruk and the surrounding beaches are easily reached from Kuala Terengganu by bus (Marang / Dungun), mini bus ( No.14 / 13) beca and taxi or even on foot for the more intrepid visitor.
OTW BALIK KE KUALA LUMPUR DARI KUALA TRENGGANU SINGGAH SEBENTAR DI RANTAU ABANG DAN BERGAMBAR DI TEPIAN PANTAI NYER...SAMBIL TGK PENYU

At 22km north of Kuala Dungun and 80km south of Kuala Terengganu, it is probably the most talked about tourist spot in Terengganu. There was a time when a great number of giant leatherback turtles came to Rantau Abang to lay their eggs between May and August. (Peak egg laying months are June and July).

Rantau Abang beaches are well-known for its turtles. In fact, the state of Terengganu's penchant to associate itself with turtles started here in Rantau Abang. Nonetheless, this beautiful beach makes up for it. The water is crystal clear and enticing enough for a swim. You could also climb the giant boulder rock, admiring its geological formation of different sedimentary layers throughout millions of years

RANTAU ABANG

RANTAU ABANG
. Also it provides an amazing bird's eye view of the beach.

For more information on the leatherbacks, there is a Turtle Information Centre managed by the Department of Fisheries at Rantau Abang. The rangers have been patrolling the beaches to ensure safety for the turtles when they come onto shore to lay their eggs. The centre is open every day except Friday and public holidays.

By Car:

From Kuantan, drive north for about 2 hours, passing through the oil town of Kerteh, Paka and Dungun. From Dungun town, head further north for another 5 minutes. You should be passing over the Dungun river bridge. After the bridge, passing by the exit to Teluk Bidara recreational beach, you will see a curve on the road and giant rock boulders which marks the beginning of Rantau Abang beaches on your right.

By Bus:

Buy a bus ticket at Hentian Putra Bus Station, Kuala Lumpur to Dungun, Terengganu.

By Air

There are flights Kuala Terengganu by Malaysia Airlines. From the airport, grab a taxi to Rantau Abang.

CHERATING

Singgah beli keropok lekor sahaja di sini , lepas tu isi minyak terus berlalu pergi..masih jauh perjalanan ke KL

Cherating is a popular beach resort area in Pahang. It is located about 30 km north of Kuantan.Cherating village is a typical small lazy East Coast fishing village although backpacker-tourism now is the major income earner here. The village, which is just off the main East Coast trunk road between Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu is dotted with guesthouses and small hotels (called chalets here). Asia's first Club Med is also located here. The place is extremely laid-back and the beach is nice and wide, although not as beautiful as the beaches on the islands off the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
TIBA DI KL

tiba di KL saja terus hantar jackie ke Central Market. Lepas tu pulang dengan aliff ke Puchong. Dalam jam 10.30 malam tiba di rumah.
